Future Additive is a web service that allows designers and manufacturers to digitally print their 3D SLM/SLS products prior to sending them to a physical printer.

By simulating the 3D printing process, users can:

We model the underlying processes for SLM/SLS with high fidelity. This saves designers and manufactures the labor, material costs and time that is typically wasted in the "trial-and-error" loop.

Typically, CAD/CAM and Slicer software will depict how parts "should look" using only the part geometry. Because we do high fidelity modeling at microscopic scales, Future Additive customers can inspect how parts "will look"; showing details in tolerances, printning errors, and surface texture that cannot be achieved with CAD/CAM and Slicer tools.

Future Additive parts can take 30 minutes or a few hours to "digitally print", depending on the size and complexity.
